Your key to accessible facilities

The Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) provides access for all. It lets people with a disability use clean and safe toilets, playground equipment, lifts and other facilities fitted with an MLAK cylinder, 24 hours a day.

MLAK cylinders are used all across Australia at:

Accessible toilets at railway stations, council facilities, shopping centres and national parks
Lifts at railway stations
Adaptive playground equipment, such as the Liberty Swing
Changing Places facilities

Who can order an MLAK?

Eligibility is restricted to:

People with a disability, or
People with written authority from a doctor, a disability organisation, a community health centre, local government, or the centre management or owner of a building with an MLAK-enabled facility

$45 per key + $15 postage and handling

A copy of your proof of eligibility, along with payment, must be provided before keys can be supplied.
